If you had a Wordpress Plugin that worked 100% perfectly for your new media display system... but they don't allow adult content. What would you do?

1. Develop your own media display / carousel / slider system that works 100% for both adult and mainstream media displaying.

Downsides: Puts you waaaaay back in development and not nearly ready to show people or start sending traffic to. Will lead to more alcoholism. Can create the Ferrari of media display systems, but if it takes 6 months, will someone beat me to it?

Pros: Complete control over future development and total control of the code, never having to worry that a malicious WP plug-in owner won't just try and charge me a bazillion dollars a year licensing fee eventually if the public likes my display engine I've created.

2. Work the mainstream sites with the WORKING proof-of-concept you have working right meow, and develop your adult carousel separately. This is the much more painful of the options as I won't have an income due to the time needed to develop the adult version from scratch. However, the system already works 98% properly and can be expanded to become even better of a content aggregate. Would work amazingly well in showing people cool mainstream content.

Downsides: May become overly-focused on mainstream content and lazy on the adult, may divide my time between the two and create two shitty products VS one amazing one. Staying focused on one product is always better than dividing your time between two.

Pros: Can start immediately harvesting and distilling cool social media videos and becoming the "google of videos", can immediately look for investors and help to build the best media display site possible.

I am all fucked up about this at the moment and drinking heavily. My backend and everything works so perfect for the 1.0 version of my site, and if I have to switch everything to have a new slider / carousel in place, then I have to re-write my entire backend too, which runs incredibly smooth at the moment. The whole operation is so buttery smooth to add content and do everything my site needs to do, if I have to switch the plugin, it is gonna fuck up my operation. Very difficult times and yet, so far, the whiskey has not provided any answers!

More content is being made every day than a person could possibly view in their lifetime!

I have made a system to distill content down into its most relevant frames

Really need some help delivering this to the public!

why would you limit your dev based on a plugin? just google another one.

there are thousands of carousels.

I've put tons of hours into this one and things look ALMOST perfect!

If I have to start over in adult, it is gonna fuck me over, big time.

I'm so excited to show people. We're about to make a big leap into how content is displayed!
