Mike Stabile of the Free Speech Coalition is this Week’s Guest on Adult Site Broker Talk in part one of a two part series.

For more than ten years, Mike Stabile has written and directed documentaries about sex workers and sexual speech and fought for their rights. He has had his work in many places, such as the New York Times, the Daily Beast, Salon, Buzzfeed, Playboy, and more. A film he made about pornographer and humanitarian Chuck Holmes was named one of the Best Documentaries of 2015 by The Advocate.

Stabile started Polari Media to help companies and communities that aren't typical talk to a wider audience. Since 2013, he has overseen marketing for the Free Speech Coalition.

They are there to protect the rights and freedoms of everyone who works in the adult industry.

Their group helps the areas they work with by being a resource, a leader, and a tool. They are proud of the work they do to fight against the social shame, false information, and unfair laws that affect people who work in or near the adult industry.

There have been impossible fights they have fought and won for more than thirty years, from the Supreme Court to the polls and back again. There is a lot of scrutiny and attack on our business all the time, but we have seen that when we fight together, we win.
