2024 Ford Expedition review
Soooo...
I've been working on my online shit, and my 3rd book, but I fell into a bit of a depression the last few months, much related to the last couple of years of COVID bs and the fallout from it, but lately I couldn't even work on my projects despite heros like Duke from Duke Dollars being kind and encouraging me after seeing the alpha stage of my project. Really appreciate that bro. Canada feels so alien to me right meow. My baby momma had been complaining that she hasn't had time to work on her art, so I made arrangements to have her have 10 days off to pursue her music/art project, and she's super happy, and my kid is in Las Vegas with the in-laws. (same in-laws got my 7 year old a better model iPhone than I own!) She is like my guardian angel but I can't help but call her a cunt to her face sometimes. She's a bit uppity because she comes from such a rich family, so sometimes I need to tell her that her shit stinks. Love her but also hate that cunt's guts. Made great progress on book 3, and it should be ready soon, but I've been ignoring my AI project for like 4 months now. Haven't even touched it. Thought to myself, maybe I could find a temp job over the holidays doing some bullshit. There is no snow, so I can't shovel that shit for a nice profit and exercise. Got to get out of the shack and do something. That's where Craigslist and the 2024 Ford Expedition came in. 5 minutes after making the decision to force the baby momma to spend time alone and FINALLY work on the crud she had been blabbing about for months, I wanted to find a temp job, stocking shelves, snow shoveling, or maybe a mall santa? Anything new and fresh to go and do for 1-2 weeks over the holidays. Feeling bored and needing something out of the ordinary. "private driver wanted" Long story short, some cool ballers needed a driver so they could party locally, and I got the job. Cash paid per day. Great gig! Driving a 2024 Ford Expedition, and I have to say, holy fucking shit, this thing not only hauls ass, not only is it super luxurious and the seats super comfortable, not only can it haul like a half dozen strippers AND your bros, but it ALSO feels like a MKIV Supra freight-train above 60 MPH / 100 KPH. The steering is deceptively good, next to zero bump steer, easy to park and a shockingly good turning radius. The steering felt super balanced and VERY sporty for such a gigantic vehicle. It felt like a lifted sportscar. The biggest thing I feel is notable is the lack of bumpsteer. Usually in trucks or larger vehicles, if you hit road irregularities, the steering wheel will want to jerk in your hands when hitting them and the vehicle will shudder, but the 2024 Ford Expedition is so rock-solid, even with what feels like a solid rear axle. I don't know if the rear axles is independent or solid, but it felt a bit rough in the back. Front suspension feels smoother, but the read feels a touch harsh. The suspension felt a bit rough in the rear but great in the front. It feels like a heavy duty vehicle or tank as opposed to a finely tuned highway monster, but only slightly. I have NEVER felt a vehicle so large-and-in-charge doing 180 KPH and feeling like you're doing 80 kph, even when hitting bumps and potholes at 180 KPH it felt smooth as shit. I am a bit depressed so I kind of was praying for a crash or horrible accident, but the Expedition was so rock-solid that it continued to impress me. I threw it into high speed corners that you'd shit your pants in a Mustang in, but in the Expedition, it was no sweat. The brakes... I had no idea a 6000 lbs vehicle could snap your head forward and make you kiss the steering wheel. They are amazing. I hit a patch of snow during my drive and the ABS worked great, was hard to believe how the Expedition handled everything I threw at it, and it was FAST too! Sport mode was a bit of a beast, but I have one complaint: I took the baby momma to the liqo'sto and on the way, I tried to do a brake-boosted launch. Hold the brake pedal hard and stomp on the gas for a couple of seconds to build boost, release the hounds! Very disappointing launch. It launched harder just stomping on it from a green light. I don't have a review of the in-car display screen, because I hate that gay shit. Just give me a couple of knobs for the radio and heater and s'all good. Anyways, after spending a week with this vehicle so far, I'm super impressed. I can't believe a vehicle so large handles, brakes, and accelerates SO well. The goddamn thing does 180 KPH and feels like you're doing 100 kph in a normal vehicle. It is a monster road-eater and even at $107,000 in Canada, holy SHIT, I want one!

I just bought a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. After years of buying new cars every year or every other year, I've become the kind of person that buys a car and holds onto it forever. My last car was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, the very base model. The only thing I did was buy a new radio.
My new Jeep Grand Cherokee has all of the bells and whistles. Heated seats, hearted steering wheel... I am not into speed but it has the paddles on the steering wheel and "sport mode".... When you go from a 2012 to a new car... It's stunning how much cars have changed in the past decade.

Bruh my mind is blown, the 2024 Ford Expedition handles, brakes, and accelerates better than most sportscars 15-20 years old!
