Installing a blog subdirectory on maddos?
Hey All,
So, I have a review site using maddos. Its wordpress, and would like to install a subdirectory for blogs. am I missing something here? I create a brand new install on /blog with new database etc but that would mean I would have to change the design to match the main site or create a category called blog and have all the blog posts under that, but that would mean tweaking category page design for the blog is there a simpler way than this? any plugins? |

Create page "Blog"
Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays > A static page > Posts page > Select "Blog" /wp-admin/options-reading.php

However, the blog seems to display the latest site reviews as posts, as each site review is added via post in maddos I wanted a seperate blog to write articles etc if that makes sense |

so essentially, what I will do is,
Create a new category titled /blog Install a custom category template plugin, and edit the category list to match that of a blog. change the text " read review" to " view full post " and remove some small stuff However, the default post is tailored towards a review page, rather than a blog post. Is there a way to make custom post templates also? |
