Who Here Uses YouTube To Drive Traffic To Their Adult Sites?

I have several softcore and 'sexual education' websites. Much of that material is non-nude content (interviews, behind the scenes, etc) so there would be no nudity. I know the videos cannot be watermarked and direct links to the porn sites in the description are a no-no. But after doing a quick YT search I found lots of videos with 'blowjob', 'kama sutra' and 'swinging' in their titles.

So I am wondering if any of you have figured out a way to post non-nude videos on YouTube that would somehow drive traffic to your adult sites. If so perhaps you can post some examples.

Perhaps a SFW landing page? Or linking to an entirely different non-porn site that then links to your adult site? There must be a way....LOL

Maybe not, but let's hear your suggestions and experiences. Thanks everyone!

Youtube drives an incredible amount of OnlyFans signups, and a lot of it from full nudity videos (wet look, try-on, sheer/fishnet, breastfeeding, etc).

If you have any amount of non-nude content you should be posting it on youtube for sure, I'd run a parallel domain with a SFW tour.

Cloak your domain - send bots to a SFW noncommercial page and surfers you can redirect to whatever you want. That applies to your mainstream stuff too - don't send bots to an affiliate link, send them to something that looks like informative niche content.

I've never had an issue with watermarking + pre- and post-roll CTA sections.

Link in the description is up for debate and obviously multiple accounts sharing the same domain can be extremely iffy, while one domain per account can get expensive. I have accounts with bitly links going to cloaked domains that have been up for 10 years and have millions of views.

Excellent idea! I am working on that this week before I post any videos.

Cool! But do you mean something like this when you say 'two clicks from the safe content':

YouTube > SFW page > NSFW page

or

YouTube > SFW page > SFW page > NSFW page

I just want to set things up the right way from the start and not do tons of work only to have YT ban me for fucking up some basic regulation.

I had a client who would regularly post YouTube interviews of their Behind The Scenes content. They never directed to NSFW content, and I would recommend you never do that.

When you talk about a SFW landing page, I think you're onto something, but I think the key here is to make use of link-in-bio sites to drive traffic.

Link-in-bio "microsites" are one of the services that I provide to clients, because it's something that has replaced the personal homepage (linktree is great and all, but you don't really own your link-in-bio site when you use it, so I offer the service as an all-in-one package.)

They are commonplace amongst all kinds of content creators, not just NSFW performers, and they are so simple that I believe users do not consider them to be an annoyance when traveling through the Web.

I think no matter what you do, you're going to be challenging the spirit of these social media sites terms of service, and I wouldn't recommend doing that. But if you're comfortable doing that, I would consider something like:

YouTube => Link-In-Bio => SFW Landing Page (with enough information for users to get to the NSFW on their own if they choose to search it out themselves.)

Twice removed linking...

Youtube content with very soft non-nude, non-sexual content links to a domain that has non-nude on it. From that domain, link to your adult sites with a warning so you're never linking directly to adult content.

Professionally, I use YouTube as a test bed. I don't have the schedule necessary to be a regular YouTuber.

As a consumer, I'm a power user. I even have "wallpaper screens" with things like fireplaces and rainy cyberpunk landscapes playing in the background. So it's going for hours a day.

I agree with the assessment here. I've already been flagged for links and keywords.

I'm not drawing heat for just saying a web site in the video. So I'll often say "This is Jay from FetishArtist.net" when I do a video, and likewise do shoutouts for my clients. But I believe this is still technically against TOS.

What I've experienced and learned from peers is, videos should be over 10 minutes long. While attention span drops after 4 minutes, YouTube loves videos 10-60 minutes long. Which is funny, because there are a lot of times where I'm like "I just need something 5-10 minutes long before I go to bed."

YouTube Shorts (and Instagram reels) are very much in demand. So if you can do 1 minute Shorts at least once a week. That's gold. Content farmers will often crib 1 minute clips of movies, Joe Rogan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, or use AI content for monetization.

ReFashioned Hippie posts comedy shorts as often as several times a day, and that's become the college fund for her daughter. She's never taken her clothes off and is bigger than average cam girls.

Livestreaming doesn't have as much oversight. V-Tubers Absolute Unit and Dashie Li and their fan base get away with more discussion than you could on an adult site. The livestream once a week and have a great following. Once again, you probably could not get away with keywords and a URL in the description, but you could probably have a watermark, a logo in the background, or just say the site name in the discussion. The disadvantage is livestreams are time intensive, going 1-5 hours.

If you can drive the traffic to a SFW site, also look into paying for advertising. I recommend 30 second ads. YouTube is desperate for ad revenue. Ads are coming up ranging from real estate scams, quack medicine, paid propaganda. And let's not forget some ads are for quasi-NSFW work products like Manscape and Hims. Some of these "ads" are over 40 minutes long. So YouTube is not doing much oversight.

This is my biggest pet peeve with YouTube. The algorithm loves 45 minute long videos, but everyone that I know wants 5-10 minute videos. More than 30s shorts, but definitely not essay-long material. At the end of the day, you gotta feed the beast!

When I scroll I'm always looking for 10 minute videos, which would explain why I rarely watch YT... I can't find any!

I do like your first example but after reading what wiredguy says i think I will add the warning page as it seems even safer

So it seems the way to go is build a SFW landing page, preferably on a different domain, then have that link to the NSFW tour, or even just encourage the surfer to search for the XXX site.....

Going to give this a try the next couple weeks so will bump this thread with an update when I see any results.

Thanks everyone for your awesome suggestions and insights!

Only Tease manage to do it here:

https://www.youtube.com/onlyallsites

They even have a clickable link to Only All Sites in their YouTube subscription.

There's no nudity of course and lots of behind the scenes clips. The channel has been active for 9 years as there are videos there that were posted 9 years ago.
On their sites though they don't seem to have any topless or nude images so maybe that's how they get away with it. I think if I tried the same I'd have a problem
because all my sites have topless and nude images or video samples. I think I'd need to create a new domain to link to that didn't have any topless or nude content on.
In the past I have often posted video samples from my sites on YouTube with the site logo on. Non nude clips. Some of these are still on YouTube but a lot gradually got
taken down.

A long time ago I uploaded a video of a couple of webcam models to youtube. The models were drinking booze, and one of them passed out. The other model grabbed a black felt pen and started drawing all over the passed-out girl. It was really funny and pretty sexy, and went up to 4 Million views and deliverying alot of traffic before it was taken down.

The reason it was taken down wasn't for the content, it was because the fucking music that the girls were playing in the backgroundf was copyright of course.... damn.

Damn! I would've muted the music or used different royalty free and re-uploaded it. LOL

What's funny now is you can get a copyright strike for music in a video, but YouTube will let you choose from a selection of pop songs for shorts.

I've actually made shorts in YouTube to some of my favorite artists, then downloaded the MP4s and reposted those in other spots like Discord.

I have a YouTube where I try on clothing. It does well bringing in only fans subscribers. I have a sfw linktree style page with a link to my spicy links.
