So im currently writing a PhD paper about how the 70s in America really started the countries obsession with his history, egypt, greeks, history of the US and how shows like Roots and Little House on the Prairie gained the general audiences attention, i need to inject a little humor, any thoughts on a one liner i could include that might get a chuckle from the audience i'll be reading it out to, its mainly scholars and doctorates of history.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, this paper is boring af
