WP-Script Or Nah?

Hello All! I'm planning to create an adult website using wordpress. I saw WP-script as an option BUT after reading several threads and discord messages that they do not support customers and even banning random honest users, I'm leaning back a bit.

Do you have any suggestions for WP Plugin on content?
I also tried some PHP API for PH, But when I tested it's only embedding the whole video with the default player with it's branding and link.

Any suggestions would be very very much appreciated.

Hey,

It seems that there is no support at all. They banned my account and now my websites are losing traffic.
I don't recommend them

Oh no, thanks for the info. Are there alternative tube scripts aside from WP-Script?

Does anyone have a full list of all the options of competitors to WP-Script ?

For example both options for either embedding or hosting. And if wordpress or script etc.

here's an idea - make a post about everything you want your site to have. You may find everything you need using Wordpress, or you might find someone that can code what you need for a low price.

no problems with them, support take a few days, also they update their plugins regularly

also this goes to show how much their products are dependant on their servers to function.

client of mines sites are non functional now, even the front end of the theme, because it relies on their servers to render html content.

if a 3rd party company goes away, it shouldnt mean that your sites go un-usable.

you would think using one of their themes wouldnt require so much load and backend to render html.

even the import plugin doesnt contact pornhubs api directly, it requires a call to wpscript servers to perform the lookup, again needing their servers to be up for it to work.

mechbunny for example, calls the apis directly, not needing mechbunny server at all (same for the cam script they call the chat api directly)

the only time i ever did this for a product is in my social media fetcher, only because it requires a custom backend to provide download funcionality for over 20 different types of social media which uses api keys which cant be exposed.

even my redgifs plugin calls the redgifs server directly, not needing any other connections.

when buying a product, always make sure to find out if it relies on a 3rd party for connections at all.

my ticket was sent 15 days ago.

they are appearntly banning people with unlimited accounts who has a lot of sites, thats the whole point of unlimited plan.

i spent over $670 with them since they opened. still no reply.

by the text being within my limits of unlimited plan, i assume doesnt really mean unlimited.

Why do you want a tube site on wp ? WP script is a totally lowcost script with bad support. Even if you get traffic and finally build something, wordpress on high traffic is a problem. Not to mention the constant threats of hacking via pugins and themes you have there.

wp is not a problem for high traffic, maybe on shared hosting, but the right setup its fine. i have customers of mine using my themes on sites that do 8+ million visitors without issues at all.

If wp had any issue with high traffic i would steer customers away from it, but the correct setup is all you need.

I cant speak for other peoples themes though. as mine do not have bloat, mine do not require any plugins to function unlike some out there that require many.

seems like a good theme idea for a stable wordpress tube theme that allows simple imports of sponsor files and just provide a stable product. plenty of demand and wp-script has screwed people left and right with lack of support. I like the product but they were never able to satisfy help support. Their paywall product with woocommerce/ccbill has been a trainwreck

i plan on doing some import integrations down the line.

ive also coded a restrict access plugin, that lets you only view x amount of posts per day, before you are reqired to signup, or wait 24 hours.
