Five paysites accessing one password file
Hello. I want to set up five paysites on one server that all access the same password file. Should they all access the password file on one of the domains, or should I set it up differently? Any advice on setting this up would be appreciated.

easiest way.. is to set your members area on a dedicated ip.. and point members.yourdomain.com to that ip..

or you can have one password file all your membersareas use

I was going to use one password file that all the members areas used, I just wasn't sure if there was a best place to put it.
I like the idea of using the dedicated ip idea. I'm not quite sure how that would work though as I will have five seperate members areas. Thanks for your replies. |
