I've been thinking more and more about the hosted gallery game and it basically comes down to which sponsers you can TRUST. there are a LOT of good people in this industry and a lot of skumbags as well. So how do you find the best hosted galleries if you're now trying to look for them? Well look for those hosted gallery sponsers who put their money where there mouth is.

Look for those that buy pre-paid gallery spots. YES - pre-paid spots on major TGPS. don't just look one day either, check and re-check over a few weeks or months. The people who buy regular pre-paid gallery spots OBVIOUSLY know how to make money. They would be who I'd suggest to go and try out first.

I was considering doing some of this, but I had the following thought...

If I am paying for gallery spots, then I am directly competing with the affiliates who want to use my hosted galleries. I am saturating the market with my photos. Is that something I should do to my affiliates?

... hmmm, I have noticed more and more sponsors are pulling out of hosted galleries (or no longer updateing theirs) ... I guess it just doesn´t pay off ...

that basically just proves my point. Some people can make money, and some can't. look for those that CAN

The expense means reduced margins, but I am still making a lot of money thanks to mine. I suspect that people who have already narrowed their margins would have some trouble with them, come to think of it.

I'd like to see the Ox guys actual stats. A lot of non-porn people I know are typing it in. I'm guessing it still converts for them a little above the average site.
