Digital camera suggestion
I am using the Canon 10D for most of my content and it works great. As I am shooting much amateur content I am also looking for a small digital for taking flashing pictures in public without many people noticing and other settings where a big camera is just not as convenient. Here is what the camera should be able to do:
- optical zoom should be more than the 3x of the normal automatic digitals nowadays - at least 3.1 megapixel - CF 2 memory card It does not have to be a really small one (I think a high optical zoom does not allow for a very small build) but it should be a compact model. Any suggestions? |

well, even though you said you want mega-zoom, i'd suggest an elph. they're tiny as fuck.
if not an elph, i'd look into like a nikon 5000 or 5700, maybe the 3800 or whatever, and look into the olympus. good stuff.

I'm sure Olympus makes something that suits your needs. I used them till I bought my Nikon D100. When it comes to zoom lenses, I don't think any company does it better than Olympus, since they went into the fully auto ZLR direction when the rest of the industry went SLR for their fully auto cameras.
