Ok, I have been testing out freepassbucks, after I reached the minimum payout my account got canceled and they refuse to pay. I asked them why, and all I got as an answer was : "fraud". I am 100% sure I didnt use any shady practises, just the common ways of advertising a 4free program.

So, beware when thinking about this program, you can easily get canceled without any reason and they are absolutely not willing to explain you why.

Thats what I call bad sponzor.

hahaha, i didn't cheat them, i didn't cheat any sponsor and anyone from webmasters, if someone knows me i'm sure will post that i'm trustable person..
they was not willing to explain why they canceled me. all what

i contacted them via ICQ, via emails, and after about week i finally got response "due to fraud", i think that's not good sponsor, because they can cancel anyone from you , without any notice, and i don't recommend them to anyone from you

and even i have referred them 3 or 4 webmasters from my webmasters resources they piss on me...

This is an age old story where the sponsor becomes judge jury & executioner and I for one think its time it came to an end

This wee know they cheated but were not going to tell you how is wearing VERY thin and is almost certainly ILLEGAL, it makes sponsors look like thieves

I wanted to make it very clear that once we deem a webmaster as fraudulent, it goes through a rigorous steps of fraud control. In addition, if this specific webmaster inquires and offers and explanation we will review the case on a secondary occassion.

In some overt cases, fraudulent webmasters attack an affiliate program on public forums and the public relations can be horrific.

Yet, it is difficult form the affiliate point of view to offer full explanations of their fraud controls simpy because it is unprofessional to release personal information on any public forum and affiliate programs are not here to teach other webmasters to learn how to fruad.

We want to make it very clear to all webmasters, we do want pay our webmasters.

If you ask them to review your case they might...but they will never divulge to you how they catch fraud as it just invites even more fraud from WM that ARE dis-honest. And trust me on this...there are plenty of WM's that ARE lying cheating scumbags.

There is a HUGE difference between saying how you caught somebody and saying what the fraud was. If you are going to can somebody and not pay money legally owing (unless fraud is committed or the TOS violated) you should at least be able to state what the fraud was. Just very basic information will NOT give away any fraud detection 'secrets' as obviously the guy would already know what he was doing. Rarely do posts like this ask for proof or details of any of these fraud detection methods, just what the hell they were meant to be doing ie dodgy cc's, misleading links etc etc. Basic information can and should be provided and would keep some of the crap off of the boards.

Amazes me how many people have difficulty with such a simple point.

As a final point anyone who thinks accounts that are cancelled are always done so for a reason is very misguided. Sure, in the majority of cases the person is a cheating bastard but the systems are not infalible and mistakes are made.

I simply will not let it pass this way. If I will not get my money at least the other webmaster can see who they are dealing with.

And if they dont want to go public with this, I ask them to send me a private mail or sticky me a msg here with the prove of me cheating, instead of ignoring my emails and ICQ msgs.

i agree with you completely...i have shut down many accounts for fraud while working for Python...but i am always willing to deal with people on an individual basis and work with someone that feels that they have been mistreated.

Exactly what Brent said, there's no way a sponsor will reveal in exact detail why you were terminated. They'll always leave it general enough such as spam or fraud as in order to avoid fraudulent webmasters from signing up again and trying to get around their fraud filters. They certainly are willing to review your account though and if you have any documents in your defence, you should definitely send it to them.

It does happen on occassion though that legitimate webmasters get terminated and it is unfortunate but it is needed to protect the sponsor's best interest.

If you truly were not cheating them in any way, communicate it with Albert by email. It really is unprofessional to drag their name publicly like this.

If you think its legal for a company to turn round to an affiliate and say were keeping your money but we won't tell you why then you need to go shopping for a new head because the one your wearing now is fucked.

If true then that's what should happen and kudos to you. The over-used 'I can't tell you why we closed you but it was fraud and/or you must have cheated' is the most some programs will give which is shaky at best. I suppose they rely on people not being able to afford court or the sums being too small so that they are never taken there, otherwise they would then have to show why they are not paying monies owed. I never said that this policy was fair...cause in many ways it is VERY unfair to WM's in General as sometimes innocent WM's get screwed.....but it is a reality. no sponsor on the net is going to reveal how they scrub for fraud... nor would they tell you even what the fraud was for even that piece of info can lead to ways around how the Fraud scrubbing works.

Don't feel bad, I got terminated on Mojosearch for no reason as well. I just blacklist all their programs. In fact, I should thank him, I make much more with my traffic now then I could have ever with those pay per search / pay per click things.

Wg as I said in above posts (like Toker outlined), I have contacted them via email and ICQ, it took a week to tell me they terminated me because of fraud, I mailed them again that it must be an error, I tried that 2 or 3 times without any reaction, the last time I told them to take a look at it or I take it to boards, so here I am.

Do you really believe I would fight for those fucking $50 bucks if I was cheating? Like I said i dont really care for the money what I care for is that I have been accused of cheating and that blows my mind. I am sure you are in the biz as long if not longer than I, wouldnt it set you up to be called a fraudulent webmaster? I for sure know it pissed me of, thats why I am talking about it.

In addition, if this specific webmaster inquires and offers and explanation we will review the case on a secondary occassion. In some overt cases, fraudulent webmasters attack an affiliate program on public forums and the public relations can be horrific. Yet, it is difficult form the affiliate point of view to offer full explanations of their fraud controls simpy because it is unprofessional to release personal information on any public forum and affiliate programs are not here to teach other webmasters to learn how to fruad. I am not saying that you (miob) are guilty, only that if you are or if you are not isn't going to matter at this point. If you ask them to review your case they might...but they will never divulge to you how they catch fraud as it just invites even more fraud from WM that ARE dis-honest. And trust me on this...there are plenty of WM's that ARE lying cheating scumbags.

If you are going to can somebody and not pay money legally owing (unless fraud is committed or the TOS violated) you should at least be able to state what the fraud was. Just very basic information will NOT give away any fraud detection 'secrets' as obviously the guy would already know what he was doing. Rarely do posts like this ask for proof or details of any of these fraud detection methods, just what the hell they were meant to be doing ie dodgy cc's, misleading links etc etc. Basic information can and should be provided and would keep some of the crap off of the boards. Amazes me how many people have difficulty with such a simple point. As a final point anyone who thinks accounts that are cancelled are always done so for a reason is very misguided. Sure, in the majority of cases the person is a cheating bastard but the systems are not infalible and mistakes are made. __________________ Ignorance is never bliss.
