It amazes me that someone couldn't turn a profit with Skype. 900 million in loses... sad. Now, it will be even harder since that magicjacks out and is much cheaper than skype, plus works with any real phone, computer etc... As to chat clients, it was always my favorite because of it's features, but ICQ is still on top for the number of people I have on it and the amount of time I use it.

Got to thinking about it...

ICQ was released on November 15, 1996

I started to use it in 1997.

In that same time I've had 8 different cell numbers, 7 different addresses, 7 different home numbers and lived in 5 different states. 2 different wives and 15 different cars. Owned 3 different businesses, and had 3 different jobs (but been working for myself with Extremehole since 99.) Owned 25 different computers and changed platforms 3 times.

Icq has been the most stable thing in my life... lol!
