We were supposed to be in Miami already
What a fucked up my partner and me had today.....fucking insane.
Ok here's what happened. The day before yesterday my partner lost his wallet including company credit cards.....we don't notice it until we're heading for the airport....so we turn around, search, nothing....quick transfer money over to personal bank accounts and rush to Madrid airport. We get there just in the nick of time....but there are large lines at checking. We walkup to the counter and notify them we're being late.......they reply us.....no worries please stand in line everything will be allright.........once our turn is up...... The bitch tells us the system closed checking for our flight to Miami 2 minutes ago.....there is no way we can board that plane..... We ask for alternative flights.....walk 5 km through the terminal asking everywhere for flights to Miami....everything is complete sold out. Oh we had non refundable tickets b.t.w. Finaly British Airways the carrier with whom we initially booked had 2 first class seats available for the next day......we decide to take it....they offered to deduct our lost tickets so we only had to pay an additional $2500 dollars to upgrade We take the metro to the bus station there we hop on a bus back to my partner's home town....(2.5 hour trip) search everywhere for the wallet.....and after a few hours we actually do find it....... Bus back to Madrid, Metro back to Airport.....pick up our luggage that we had put in lockers.......booked a hotel near the airport so we didn't have to travel through rush hour......we must have walked 15KM today while it was 45C in Madrid..... So now we're finally settled in the hotel and if all goes well we fly tomorrow first class to Miami.....playa style  We'll do everything we possibly can in eating/drinking in the vip lounge on the airports to at least cover some of that $2500 we had to pay on top of our initial ticket....... Okidokie....we had to get this rant of our chest.....Miami we're once again on our way.....CU all soon.....at least we'll be in time for the GFY party  Icy &DynaMite
