what other hotels are close to the westin? i fly in tonight

i want a nice one, not too far fromt he convention

any reccomendations?

Pete, I was last August in Miami, and I stayed at a hotel called Ambassador Ressort. It was half a mile far from Westin Diplomat , but cost only $76/night/room (taxes included) and it had a very large beautiful room, pool, close to the beach, so no need to stay in Westin and pay kinda $200/night, if you plan something cheaper.
That hotel was the only one close to Westin, by foot, all others were far and needed a car (taxi).

Westin is 3555 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, FL 33019
(on the other side of the road).
