Sexcheck is shutting down all affiliate sites, others will obviously be following. Instead of shutting it down and screwing all their webmasters, don't you think these AVS's should just switch to check, dialer, and 900# billing only? Maybe it would hurt sales, maybe not, but it's a hell of a lot better than closing down.

i agree, you can use alternative billing options. They might not be that effective,but still.

Surfers don't like giving their credit card numbers to porn sites. A widely used service like Paypal would be nice...but they pulled out of adult as well. But I don't really see any service like that existing without offering VISA as the means of putting funds into your account. Nothing else is quite that convenient.

What about good old fashion checks? They seem to work ok, maybe not as well as cc's, but at least we won't have to put up with visa and mastercard's bullshit.

Until this CC failout is concluded and the final winners, if any, remain standing, I am converting members of over 3 months into direct payment check/money order patrons.

$45 for 3 months and $60 for 6 months. I lose 25% but retain extremely happy loyal members... and thus far, history shows them renewing.
