FarEastMedia has a devoted following due to the nature of our unique content. The site features mostly first timers being spanked and fucked, something you won?t find in many (if any) paysites.

I?m going to lay all my cards on the table here. I have been in business 25 years, and have run a paysite for about 9 months. I haven?t had the time to develop ?adult webmaster syndrome? and believe in honesty and transparency in all my business ventures.

I?ll say right off that I have had a great time in this business, but I am spooked by the changing porn climate. I live in an extremely (no pun intended) porn unfriendly state. This only amounts to a small percentage of my income, but with 100% of the risk. I have three children, and I have just decided, all things considered, that porn is not worth the risk to me at this time.

There is nothing extreme or violent in the content, and although spanking related, most videos end up with a happy model and great sex. I?ve had many members tell me that they appreciate the non-brutal (but pretty damn hard) style of the videos. A decent percentage of sales are to women. This is a common fantasy and growing fast, and the videos are meant to appeal to mainstream surfers who are curious.

Now, here is some background:

I started FarEastMedia.com around June 2002, and opened the paysite in November of that year. It has been wildly successful for a spanking fetish niche site, and is one of the most highly trafficked spanking sites.

It was never more than a small part time effort, and that limited its upside. It has an amateurish design (which I think is appropriate for the site, but feel free to chuck it.) It has always suffered from slow updating which really hurt its sales.

It peaked at a little under 300 members with Globill, before they closed and fucked us like everybody else. Since then, I have been slowly rebuilding with CCBill.

The traffic is quite productive. I?ve run very few galleries so it?s 100% typeins, bookmarks, a few toplists, etc. In other words all nice click-thru traffic, not tgp freeloaders.

Some of the revenues are derived from its dvd sales. For the right offer I can throw in a $3500 dvd duplicator, which is a stand alone box that makes 6 at a time. An idiot can operate it, and the dvds retail at $37.99 each for a $2.00 blank.

Historically chargebacks are zero. The typical spanking customer is older and pretty devoted to his fetish.

In addition we were featured in a major cable satellite production (Bravo) ?Sin Cities? which is supposed to air this fall in the U.K AND should result in a nice traffic bounce. (A significant percentage of sales are to Europe.)

Included in the sale is:

- domain name
- all html and scripts
- email list of former Globill members (around 1,000)
- customer list ? (both double opt-in and those who purchased dvds) (around 1,000)
- 18 full length feature movies, around 45 minutes each. Some have spanking and sex (2 anal), some with spanking and masturbation, and 2 multi-girl videos with spanking only. Each movie has a dvd master and the entire movie rendered in the member?s section.
- Approximately seven (7) (I have to count them) full length (but unedited) feature movies ?on the shelf?, mini-dv.
- A real nice toplist site http://www.spankingangels.com (domain, database, etc.) (Autorank PHP) which drives some nice traffic to Far East Media.
- Affiliate list. (There are barely 10 with the new CCBill program, and I never had many affiliates)
- Some consultation, if needed, to help with the transition.

All models are of course over 18 and copies of 2257 stuff (contracts and model ids) are included in the sale.

I?ve never thought the success of Far East Media depended on using the same male actor, but if you wanted to continue shooting them, the star of the site is a friend that lives nearby (near Philadelpha) and is still available cheap if you wanted to shoot some fresh content with him.

Price? I honestly don?t know. The site did almost 50K its first 7 months this year, so if you are more experienced then me and have ¾ of a brain it would have to do over 100K a year in sales. I intend to take the best offer.

Both sites are currently on a dedicated rackshack server with a small mysql database and a few PHP scripts.

That is right, but there never was a large recurring membership. Spanking membership customers are real sharp, many lawyers and doctors. They typically sign up for a month, but often come back 2 or 3 times a year when I have added a lot of content.

And the site is holding steady with CCbill at 200+ members, so I would not expect it to drop if it changed hands.

Basically it said I have settled on an asking price of $50K to $75K.

If that seems high, I understand but its based on what I can expect to make if I just coast along and close it next year and bury the masters in the back yard.
