Hi,

This may be a stupid question, but I have to know in order of not being scammed sometime: What is hitbot traffic?

a hit bot is a program that generates false impressions to a web page. i believe it is done by using proxies and making multiple connections to the web server. it's fake traffic.

to build on smack's description, hitbot traffic is often used for traffic trades... trading fictional traffic with real traffic from trade partners.

Okey, thanks! And is there a way to discover Hitbot traffic when you are getting it (I assume you won't see unique IP's for every visitor or something like that)?
