Trust factor, I have had a very hard time being able to teach employees the SEO aspects of my work and its been limiting my ability to expand. The problem is I teach them and they become my competition within 1 year...

I'm also pretty bad when it comes to getting traffic to my sites, which was one of the reasons I went into the content business. That and the fact that I seem to have a natural talent for it. I try to stick to the things I can do exceptionally well, and have other people handle the things I'm not so good at.

I'm beginning to believe more in the killing of staff on departure. I'll train you, no problem, but then I need to kill you upon termination

Yup, the only thing that has worked rather descently is hiring on coop students from the University near me. I tend to find 2nd year students who have 2 more years to go before they can do anything full time so it limits their ability to grow. But it takes a while to teach them as well and I only got 3 months before they go back to school...

Must be on-site for anything SEO related, not easy to train over distance and all the scripts I write will die with me, no chance they're leaving the office
