Question for Fireworks user

See how the bottom part of the 'y' gets chopped off? How can I adjust Fireworks so that it doesn't do it with certain fonts?  |

make the canvas bigger and pull a CTRL + ALT + T
that wll trim it to size  |

Sometimes it cuts off the top of certain fonts too.

that is not the issue. I trimmed the canvas already... but the blue box that comes up when clicking on the font in the canvas seems to limit the font's height. and I can't pull it down either.
all I can do is to hit enter and create a new line. then the full 'y' comes up |

im a litle confused...but what you could also do is just make the canvas 3-4 pixels taller and just click your text and use the arrow key to up it just enuff so it doesnt get cutoff.

I have the same problem - I've read everything I can get my hands on and still can't get it right.
Now if I need to put some text into an image I just go back to an old copy of Photoshop

ahhhh i understand now.....I even opened fireworks to see if any my cursive fonts do the same, it appears they dont.
Try doing a search in google or a fireworks board Equinox |
