for example is paris-hilton.com better than paris--hilton.com?

I think the double dashes are equivilent to single dashes as far as google in concerned.

From what i recall any more than 1 stop gap (space) and it is of no help whatsoever.
Google reads hyphens as a space in text so having more than one hyphen will mean that the spider will read it as a stop character / word and discontinue crawling your site. |
