"A patent that could force changes in how computer users interact with millions of Web sites will be reevaluated by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the agency announced yesterday. Stephen G. Kunin, the deputy commissioner for patent examination policy, said that a "substantial outcry" from the Internet community created an "extraordinary situation" that triggered the rare review. " Hopefully we can get a "substantial outcry" against the Acacia patents. |
