I wonder how this is going to pan out.

Penthouse was on the verge of bankruptcy I think as recent as last year. And supposedly the other new half owner is the son of a scam artist.

Not very promising information.

Penthouse takes control, assumes their debt, continues processing for a few months, ceases operation, Gucione walks with several Mil.

I should write a letter:

"Dear Penthouse Forum,

I never thought anything like this could ever happen to a guy like me, but I took a royal buttfucking from a company named Ibill..."

Still waiting to see any ethics or integrity come from the DICKHEADS at IBILL. I'm not holding my breath.

Heh. Some one should pin this to the top so we don't see any more threads about it.

The sale is actually quite concerning and I'd hope that large companies processing with Ibill are going to thoroughly check into the situation, it could really royally fuck many people out there. Much larger scale than Glo-bill and ProBilling and all of those..

Cheers,
Matt

I stopped sending Ibill any processing when their solution for me to get the money they OWE ME was to lower my rates.

Like I'm going to send them MORE business to recover the money they already fucked me out of from the business I gave them? classic

CCBILL all the way!

I agree Nysus, this is the biggest thing thus far. Much bigger than Globill and the others. I also agree with lightspeed that CCBill is a fine processor. I like that they have stayed out of the limelight and have focused on solid dependable processing and advertising within this market for new clients.

The entire adult industry 'game' just continues to change so rapidly, it's becoming more difficult for companies to make longterm decisions.

We are in this market for the long term - I am talking about Nochex here. Just over a year into our project of finding new business within the adult industry and I am finding that if you can work with your clients then both parties gain.

Ours ears certainly popped up when we got this news and I would dearly like to know more about this deal and whether this is just the start of them buying up established processors.

Someone like Penthouse could in theory change its business totally from a media company to Adult Billing company. They have good branding and consumers can trust them and I think Visa and the banks would be happy to work with them.

Its great news, as despite all the shit thats going on in terms of payment providers within this market, one has been bought and people dont tend to buy business's for the hell of it.
