ok the thing is....my burner is fucked...it won't burn a cd and i am trying to trouble shoot....i keep getting a "buffer underrun problem" i am just going through all the steps to try and fix it...i disable all programs running and screen savers and all that shit but i still get it....I de-fraged my pc and still don't work...wtf??

i have 512 ram, 1.8 ghz proc. and 18 gigs available on my hard drive...what doesn't this work....it'll burn like 7 tracks then crap out

That usually happens if there is other apps working in the background and take up sys resources. Maybe a virus?
