:mad Any suggestions for removing spyware? my whole system is fucked now

I ran CWShredder, Ad-aware 6.0 and Spybot - Search & Destroy and it got rid of a lot, but if I STILL get popups out of nowhere every few minutes. And it makes my machine so slow.

how do you really get rid of all this spyware? I tried to restore my machine to yesterday but wasn't able to.

Did you turn system restore off before you tried to clean everything? Sometimes you have to do that to ensure everything can be removed.

Here's a link with a whole drawn out process. I've never tried it, and it sounds like it may take awhile, but I suppose it would be better than reformatting.

Reformat your computer and stay off the internet.
