Animated GIFs
What is the best program to create animated .gifs for the net? I used Adobe Image Ready but I have been told there are better programs to do the job. Can anyone reccomend a better one?

I've been using Ulead gif animator lite, which sucks ass. I hear the pro version is cool though...

Sucks? Well it doesn't matter. I will have to see if the Pro Version is any good.

Ulead GIF Animator LE is great if you're looking for a simple easy-to-use no-thrills gif animator. I use Paint & iPhotoPlus 4 to make the basic images & GIF Animator LE to put them together.

I used animation shop 3.0, but when optimizing any gif, really hurts the quality of the pic.

Been doing animated buttons for a few years now but still suck at using photoshop. i have ulead 4 with all the plugs for it, all those plug ins do is make the file HUGE! like 140k for some of the effects, you may just want to keep your image layers small in file sizes and colors down to sqeeze out a good file. the option that is kool in paintshop pro version is you get to resize your animation :=)
