That is correct if you count the person who started the thread as being post 1. I am counting the way GFY counts posts. If you could have seen the GFY post number for "Mailer" it would have read 4999.

Wild-cat's would have read 5000.

Look steen2 was the winner but now is 1 spot lower, on 74 instead of 75. So if they will give him credit then wild cat should be credited as well and not mailer.

I'm counting each and every post. There are 50 posts per page, no matter what GFY counts, because if the originator's post is zero, then GFY is counting the REPLIES, not the actual number of POSTS.

This contest was being counted by POSTS, not replies.

Lee, I'm sorry, but I counted it three times. Keyser counted it. Anna_O counted it. Now all three of us couldn't miscount.

Someone deleted a post to make freakinwebmaster the winner.

Steen2 was the winner but someone (who could gain something by deleting a post?) deleted an earlier post. Steen2 definately won that one.

Contests are usually counted in sync with the way GFY counts replies, unless otherwise specified by the topic starter.

So if Topbuxom Lee is counting herself as post 1, then yes "Mailer" won. If she is counting posts the way they are normally counted in contest threads, then "wild-cat" is the winner.

Yes, as of 3 seconds after I posted my winning post I was 4575. Now unless someone deleted their post in that 3 second time frame, I think I won that one. However I am going to guess that posts were deleted AFTER the 3 second time frame. Please look at the next 20 posts after post 4575, you will see that others also thought it was me.

There were a little mishap about the 4575 winner and I agree with Anna and Tala I counted it 4 times myself because the first time I counted I got myself, but the next three times I got Steen2

I didn't count anything so I really can't be any help.
