ftp guys - simple question...

im using ws_ftp, and on one of my domains, i want to delete everything that's on my hosting for that domain.. but, i can't delete folders unless i open them, and delete all the contents... normally this wouldnt be a problem, but i have A LOT of folders, it'd take a long ass time to go through and do this

are there any ways to clear my hosting out, or at least delete folders even if files are in them?

don't do it though FTP. Login into your server as root and take care of it though telnet

Check the settings of WS_FTP. There is an option "allow deleting of non empty directories".

Go get

Crystal FTP Pro

You can delete folders with it and you won't go back to WS_FTP after using it, trust me.

I'd like to know where... I just went through all the options and couldn't find it.

My host has CPanel, I just delete folders from the file manager.

If you have shell access:

rm -rf <dirname>
