XBOX - Rainbow Six - Black Arrow

XBOX Players - Bought the new Rainbow Six/Black Arrow for XBOX last night - fucking cool upgrade from the last release version 3. I recommend it for anyone who loves playing on XBOX Live - will keep us busy until Halo 2 hits in November. $40 plus tax.

There are new maps of course, they are HUGE! They kept a few of the old maps like Garage, Airport, and Presidio.

They fixed the lean walk glitch thing peeps were doing - you can still lean walk but you can be killed just like if you weren't.

New features including online text and voice messages for your friend list. Now you can tell your buddy whats up so they dont have to leave their game to find out.

XBOX Live Warning - if you are in the message section when a game starts or ends - your mike will go dead and you will have to leave and come back to be able to talk online.

Team/Klan settings so you don't have to go to teamcompete.com or some other slow server to set up matches.

The new games are Conquest and Retrieval:

Retrieval is a lot like capture the flag - have to get the canister and put it in the box while the other team tries to do the same.

Conquest - kinda like king of the hill - you have to control the most satellite dishes for the longest period of time to win.

The old standard games like mission and terrorist hunt have been improved - better aritficial intelligence - smarter play.

Only one new gun - replaces the .50 cal sniper rifle that pissed everybody off - not as good but the maps are so big that there is a real advantage to using the sniper rifles.

I've been playing Rainbow Six 3 for a year now and hands down it is the best game on the system for first person shooters - now - the new version looks to be the only game I'll buy this year - cya online.
