I like Gwen, I guess. She's somewhat interesting.
She's a bit old to be doing the ghetto fabulous thing. Her fans are about 14 years old, I guess. She writes like she's still in high school, which is completely arrested. Reminds me of when Joey (on Friends) was auditioning for the part of a 19 year old and dressed in all the layers of clothes, low slung pants and hat. He just kept saying "S'up". It was a joke on the show. I guess Gwen missed that episode. |

That's one of the reasons I don't want children.... how can I do something mean, by exposing them to this world without a future. If I turn on the TV, and check MTV all I see is "gangsta rappers", white chicks in a gangsta trip, bullshit music without any meaning or message and even if there's a message it's about bitches, money, cars etc.
When I walk on the street, I see white "gangsta" chicks, just 13-16 y.o screaming for attention, they've almost became whores by just looking at TV. Media is fucking with the kids brains, I'm telling ya. And I'm young, so I know. Sorry, just had to say this.

I do miss being able to catch a Faith No More video on MTV once in a while... or at least something outside of the rap genre. I haven't watched more than a minute or two of that station in years and it used to be one of my favorites.
