Any Orginization advice?

Ok, Ive set aside all day today to clean up my favorites, make sure Ive documented all my information and so on. Currently Im saving a text file on each sponsor that I sign up for with all my information. What Im wondering is if there is an easier way to keep track of everything? Also if there are any bookmarks you think I should have I would love to hear em. Thanks again.

I just did that the other day. I had stuff in there from years ago.

Make an html page instead of a text file and put your sponsors name, linking code, stats url, passwords, banners page, etc.. and just keep it on your hard drive and open it with your browser when you need it. Copy it over do a floppy to be safe. Add a shortcut to it on your desktop or toolbar for faster access.

I also forward a lot of important emails to a web based account like hotmail and have my options there set to automatically forward those to a certain folder.

If you are using Outlook Express you can export your favorites folder before you start in case you decide you need something later. Gives you a little breathing room when cleaning out your favorites folder because you can always find it again if you find later that you needed something you deleted.

<-- Begin Edit -->
Ooops, I didn't mean export your favorites folder with Outlook. haha. That's email. Export favorites with your browser in IE. I don't know about Netscape or any others.
<-- End Edit -->

Have fun,

RD

Thanks, good idea on the HTML page, think Ill do that. Im about done though, finished cleaning up my email - that was a mess. Deleted all the favorites that I dont ever go to. Have a bad habit of CTRL+D everytime I see a site I want to check out later, then forgetting. Oh well, whatever doesnt get done in half an hour can wait, its a holiday weekend and there is a bunch of beer calling my name.
