To Democrats and libs who blame the gay issue for Kerry's asskicking

Give it up. Last election you blamed FL's 'disenfranchisement' of minority votes. Now its because of all the bigoted voters turning up to vote against gay marriage.

What do these two denials have in common? Yep, you refuse to open your eyes to the reality that MOST of the counties of the USA are conservative.

You also refuse to accept the fact that people get more conservative as they get older and move to the suburbs. This also applies to women and minorities.

As long as you keep yourself in denial, you will always keep LOSING.

What's the solution: Use Bill Clinton's approach--use moralistic terms to describe moderate agendas people can agree on. Ditch your liberal wing.

No, no they won't. Instead they'll do something like nominate Hillary Clinton to run in '08. The same idiots will stand around wondering how she could possibly lose, too.

Exactly. Its like designing a car with square wheels and getting all dumbfounded why the fuck it won't move fast. The US is a conservative country, face it, and work within that. It's conservative but that doesn't mean that progress can't or won't happen. It just won't happen as quick as the dem libs want.

I could be wrong here, but I think the Dems are blaming it on the fact that all the exit polls showed that conservatives came out in huge numbers mainly AGAINST the gay thing.

Sad, really.. We have all these fucking backwoods rednecks who deny Twan and his boyfriend the right to happiness. I may not be gay, but jesus let them get married who the fuck cares.

The gay thing is sorta like the racism issue, or the women lib issue of our time.

nothing is ever 100% legit in this country anymore...you just gotta get used to it and try and break it down to the almost legit level

you can't bitch about elections being legit when there are thousands of other things that are cheated on such a lower level every day...work on the small for the next few years and wake people up to the fact that people cheat constantly on everything, and maybe they will be more inclined to believe what is happening with the election the next time they roll around

WAHH WAHHH WAHHH

Once you start paying taxes, owning a home, and worried about your kids' schooling and security, you'll have a clue.

Since you're still in your "Im a rebel" stage, you're prime 'anarchist' or 'socialist' or 'liberal' fodder.

It's sad that you idiots have no concept of what you're really supporting. If you think this election was about values, you should really just kill yourself now. Over the next 4 years you jackasses will get a good idea of what neo-conservatism really means. Congratulations on fucking your own country because you insist on remaining ignorant, you should be very proud.

At what point do you start trusting hundreds of years of democracy to one private corporation no one knows anything about? I pay taxes and own a home and I worry about my kids, but I don't think it's a good idea to rest the fate of the world in the hands of one CEO.

No I don't think it's the gay issue.

I think it's because the USA has too many ignorant rednecks and delusional Christian fundamentalists.

I have NO clue how many.... If I had the answer I would be King by now.... but it dont take millions of votes to win this election... just a hundred thousand or so in Ohio was the difference.

Popular vote dont get it done here...

And I aint saying that it even matters, point is its happened and they will find out to what extent in the comming weeks is all...

I was just wondering, seeing as everyone trotted Kerry to be a shoe in and this election was supposed to be a blow out.

security from what? the terrorists aren't attacking grain silo's in the midwest! America's biggest cities lean overwhelmingly democrat and are more likely to be attacked by terrorists. iraq is part of the neocon's agenda to police the world and secure oil, not about terrorism.

49% of America, apparently, does not agree with you. 1% more than half did - hardly adds up to 'most'.

The truth is, the dems need to ignore catering to the Republican base, and instead, strongly deliver a democratic agenda. Conservatives are not the democratic base, and probably never will be.

49% of America was fine with a 'liberal' agenda. That speaks strongly in and of itself.

Correction: I've said since day one Bush would win. Not everyone was so snowed.
