Very nice to see people in those countries caring like that.

Thanks for posting that.

It has been having me crying all day. Being abroad I get all this stuff that you guys don't. I woke up this morning to the radio playing the changing of the gaurd where they played OUR anthem and thousands of people of all nationalities sang it. I was singing in my bed and I cried so hard.

Please, please, keep this in mind the next time some one slags of non americans. We may a good neighbor but so are the majority of the nations in the world. Especially in Europe. They may get annoyed with us at times but they do come to our aid when it is needed. They pray for us and they cry for us. It just doesn't make the American tv and in my view that is a crime.

Finally..before you leave that page make sure you take a good look at the photo of the woman in Palestine. She is crying for Americans and she is crying for humanity. Look at the numbers of people behind her. She isn't the only one.

Remember..you only know what CNN is telling you and this isn't the first time that has happened. It happens on SO many issues. So many conflicts where they only report one side. So many battles where they don't show the pictures of our European cousins - often in numbers greater than ours - fighting next to us. Look at those photos and get angry that most of the time you are being denied the truth about the rest of the world.

I was a journalism student and when I moved outside of the states even I was stunned by how much I hadn't been allowed to see about conflicts and issues I thought I knew everything about.

Right now I feel so very far away from home. I thought people might give me a hard time over here but you know what - no one has. Neighbors from all nations who barely know me have been knocking on my door to hug me and to ask after my family. The most recent was my neighbor from Pakistan.

To see the world unite like this is amazing. Now if we can just keep it up. It is sad that something like this has to happen to create this kind of unity. But if this is what it takes. Then all the people who perished will not have done so in vein.

Excellent point! We are told there for sure 100 Britians dead but we are also told that by the time everyone is counted that could be around 500.

Canada and the UK aren't the only ones. The whole world lost someone.

Apparently there were a number of Canadians on some of the planes themselves.

God what a horror it must have been.
