PITTSBURGH PENS HELP OUT @ WTC
I got this in my email, I you live close and are able to go... GO. this is a simple way you can help out and see a hockey game.
HERE IS THE E-MAIL In Memory, In Support Penguins to Donate Money from Remaining Tickets Sales for Pre-season Games to Disaster Relief Funds The Pittsburgh Penguins today announced they will donate all money from remaining ticket sales for their two home preseason games to disaster relief funds in New York City, Washington D.C. and Somerset County, Pa. - sites of the recent terrorist attacks and crashes. Approximately 3,000 tickets remain for each of the Penguins' two home preseason games - Monday, Sept. 24 vs. Atlanta and Saturday, Sept. 29 vs. Columbus. Both games will be played at 7:30 p.m. at Mellon Arena. All remaining tickets will cost $20. Seats will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. "All across America, people are looking for ways to contribute in the aftermath of these attacks - and we just think this is one of the ways we can help," said Tom Rooney, president of Team Lemieux LLC. "We all feel for the victims and their families." Tickets are available at the Mellon Arena Gate One Box Office and all TicketMaster locations. Tickets also are available by phone at 412-323-1919, or by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com or www.pittsburghpenguins.com.
