ccbill...should i be worried or terrified?
I noticed i was getting a lot of affiliate sales emails but none were showing in the ccbill online stats. That was just on the 13th of this month.
Next i just thought i'd check out the total for the month so i counted up all the affiliate emails for this month, and looked at the online ccbill stats and there was like a 30% difference?? wtf Should i just be worried ie that they have had a few issues this month and its just out for the month...or terrified that this is a longer term problem and its been happening for some time. CCbill have asked me to send them all of these mails ...however annoyingly i have them sent to an AOL mail address and now have to go through them 1 by 1 copying and pasting to send them to ccbill...as apparently ccbill don't have any copies of the emails they send out? after calling AOL they said yeah yeah we're crap and can't do anything about that, you'll just have to remember never to move any mails over to the "saved on AOL folder" in future. So 5 hours wasted so far today...and the bigger and more scary question is should i check out oct,sep,aug.....etc etc could take a long long time and lots of hassle. Is this just happening to me or have other not had these issues resolved as yet? Does anyone else bother counting up the confirmation emails and then checking them against the numbers in the ccbill online stats? Is there an easier way of checking this out..so far every email i've opened and checked in the ccbill online control panel has member details that are already stored in ccbill so this is a good sign right? I mean i just need to find the missing 30% in the emails i guess..but will take a bit of time. |
