Pray we dont ever see anything like it again. I was working in a factory at the time. I walked passed a radio and thought the station was reading out a war story. Didnt truly grasp the severity till i finished my shift and seen it on T.V. Its one of those events that makes you afraid to be alive

I can't believe its been 16 years already.
All I really remember about that terrible day was laying on my couch and remaining glued to the TV. Just an incredible and terrifying event. |
Spent much of the day glued to the TV watchin' the coverage. Life got put on hold.
Less than two weeks later we found ourselves in Queens, NY while the debris pile was still smokin'. Stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel while they held a firefighter's memorial tribute in one of the conference halls next to our Bondcon event. Firefighters mingled later that evening with us - producers, models, photographers. It was so surreal. |

I had the news on this morning while I was getting dressed and it was just so depressing.... Calling of the names.
I still maintain we need to stay the course in Afghanistan. We need to say "you attacked us, and we are staying here until we are sure it will not happen again". If it means we need to stay for the next 200 years, then so be it.
