I've never cooked with it either. Just the idea sounds pathetic to me. Cooking is sooooo easy, why use the microwave.

The only thing I've ever seen cooked in it and it comes out great is my moms Aspergus. That's about the only thing I've ever seen come out good from it. Otherwise stovetop and oven is the way to go.

Cooking is sooooooooo easy. Why is it that the majority of people I know can't cook for shit and think microwavable food is the way to go?

So point is that I cook on my own and still eat healthy.

Yet the vast majority of people I know (both men & women) can't cook at all and just prefer eating out at restaurants. I personally hate restaurants. Besides just not trusting how clean the kitchen is, I just enjoy homemade meals much more.

I'd be willing to bet that the obesity problem isn America is partly becaue most Americans can't cook and those that do usually cook with canned food etc.. rather than fresh homemade ingredients.

And fast food. When my roommates are hungry and don't have any "quick food" to make, they run to Wendys. They aren't fat, but I'm sure many people do this.

Between poor eating habits, too much TV, too much soda, and not enough physical activity.

No way. It sucks for defrosting. Suck for cooking - even tv dinners. Chicken is like rubber.

I believe it's safe to boil water in a microwave, though.

Exactly. Dude I LOVE pasta.. It takes me 10 minutes to make some. That's quicker than running down to wendy's.

Hell I usually have some hamburger meat or thin steaks in the refrigerator all the time too. Grilling up a burger or steak takes 10-15 minutes tops...

Grill Cheese sandwiches are simple too.

I am by no means some gourmet chef....but jesus it's not that hard to cook simple stuff at home when you got the munchies.

I use my Total Chef convexion oven for cooking, or just a frying pan if I'm making a steak. The microwave is strictly for defrosting or warming up food, not cooking -- especially not meat.

Never cooked anything in it. It has too many rules you have to put up while cooking. Not my thing.
