You Sir, just made my day.

flashbock 0.8.2 has been succesfully installed
Flash objects will now be replaced with a button that you can click on to view them.
Please restart your browser to enable flashblock.

Sadly I don't think it has pagerank built into it yet. But that is coming apparently which is GREAT news!

I'm using firefox 24/7 now. And no damn IE fanatics here. God I am sick of the IE firefox wars. I got tired of them when I was 13 and there was an IE/NS war going on.

for the ones liking flashblock I can also recomend http://adblock.mozdev.org/.

You can block whatever ads with wildcard url matches.

Install, restart, right click on a banner, "Adblock Image", modify the url to cover what you think seems reasonable, enjoy.

Get the bleeding edge from http://adblock.mozdev.org/dev.html, which not only blocks but stops them from loading totally + supports regexp matching.

netscape/mozilla/firefox all uses the same rendering engine, gecko.

the maindifferences is the look, option confing (mozilla has more advanced options I think for example, if you think that's a plus) and what extras are sent with it, think netscape bundled their IM client and so on.

I like firefox cause of the minimal slick look and the direct google (or whatever) search next to address bar.

Bit too big for my taste, would be cool with a small pagerank indicator next to the default google searchbox. Only installed the toolbar in IE before for the pagerank information (and quick googlesearch which firefox already has).

I just found out the same thing. I can live without a PR checker. Too huge for what it is for.

You can install the official toolbar in IE and use http://ieview.mozdev.org/ when you really need to know.

With that plugin you can right click in a win and choose "View This Page in IE".

Also usefull for bad pages which doesn't render good with firefox.

Typically all you need to do is install firefox. Then install the flashblock.

Close firefox and open it again. Boom it will be immediatly available.
