Whad'ya mean does it work on the snow? It's a car. Cars tend to work in the snow.

I remember one time, I was driving in the snow (we only get like a foot a year where I am), I was seeing if I could take a corner like Colin Mcrae. Of course, I misjudged everything and almost wen't up on the curb.

I only try that in my old '92 ford escort now

misjudgements can be a pain in the ass. I was having a little fun with my denali last winter, and thought i was invincible in the snow with the 4wheel drive, until i crushed through a mailbox and ended up in someones front lawn.

I couldn't agree more. I love blue. I do agree that red stands out more, though. But so does yellow. Yellow would be a nice color for many cars, actually. Silver makes almost any car look nice, even shittier ones. It would be my next favourite color. Probably the coolest new color I've seen is on the dodge viper, I think they call it 'steel' - it's sort of a blueish silver color, it's wicked.

I think the aniversary edition of that Lambo is by far the nicest of all in the last 20 years.. including the diablo.

When it came out, I had a poster of a red 25th on my wall for years. Can I asked what you paid for it?

I bought the Porsche first, about 2 years ago now. I bought the Ferrari a year ago. I was so determined that they would look good sitting next to each other in the garage, that i took my camera along to any Ferraris I was looking at buying, took some pictures of them together and came back and see what everyone thought. As you can see from this picture, the blue and red did not go well together so i did not buy this 355.

That steel blue is a great color, BMW do a really cool steel blue. Bout time Porsche did too. I was thinking - no wonder Porsche are now apparently the most profitable car company in the world, its down to the on-line adult industry buying all their cars !

Don't get me wrong.. I fucking love Diablo's.. they are amazing cars.

But I look at classic and exotic cars for the investments, as well as the style.

One of the best ways to judge a cars potential value is by the number of years it has been in production, the production run, and WHAT years those cars were made.

During economically difficult time, recession etc, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus.. even BMW, and Mercedes made fewer cars. They also lowered the production run of several cars to try and stimulate sales with new models.

We all remember this car, the Ferrari 308 and 328. This was Ferraris way of trying to save the company. They made a zillion of these, and as a result, you can pick one up for $30K to $50K in the U.S.

Well, I hate to burst your bubble.. the Diablo and F355 production runs were more than the 328 and 308 combined. The Ferrari 355 and Diablo will lose value because both companies made so many of the model (body style) during a hugely successful financial boom.

IMO. The best cars will be the ones made during economic recession. Slower production lines, more attention to detail, lower production runs, model changes every 3 years rather than 10.

The Evolution of Ferrari

This is from old to new.. check out the similarities. Ferrari canned their lead design because his concept for the 360 was based in part on the evolution of the 355. Ferrari wanted a new car, fresh.

This is pretty cool.

Rare Car BTW - Only 126 made.

Since everyone seems to be posting
all the cars they own, here is my layout!

1963 Mercury Comet (restoring)

1998 Corvette Convertible (pewter)

2001 Ford F-150 Super Crew (custom) (srilver>

2001 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 (platinum)

2002 GMC Yukon Denali XL (black)

Around $200k for all of them, I had to buy a bigger
house to keep them all, my neighbors think I own
a car delearship.

Little do they know there is a porn lord in the hood..LOL

Anyways, I got all these for less then a Diablo...

Gonna buy a Ferrari next!

Later,

Joel

I'm picking my new Saxo up on Monday. Okay its not a Ferrari, but the registration plate begins with MF :D

This thread makes me want to get my ass to JCT6000 and put a deposit down on that kick ass Bentley. For fucks sake.

Anyone in the UK seen the Arctic Silver Saxo VTR/VTS in Manchester Trafford Centre? That *is* a nice car.

355 in black is even more beautiful in reallife, pictures don't do this cars justice. The car is so much wider.

In all honesty, I don't think the red and blue look all that bad... I guess I'm starting to like red - it just stands out so much. I have not seen the steel blue on the BMW's, just the viper - I love vipers anyway, so I'm biased, but man a steel blue viper rocks. I would almost choose it over a ferrari if I didn't know the price difference. One thing I've noticed with colors is that the darker colors hide a lot about the car. I seen a black viper drive by on the road and it didn't even look that cool - and I like vipers - I think it was a little dark out, like overcast or something, and the color was so black that you couldn't make out any features. I think maybe the reflective colors, like silver and that steel blue bring out a lot of the curves on the car, and make them look as wicked as they do in the showroom fulls of lights reflecting off of them.

Anyone got some viper pics to show? (Hopefully, in a little while, I'll be displaying some )

cheers,

oh shit, almost forgot - YDG, do you have any more pics uploaded to your server? I'd like to see some more, if you do. Thanks...
