help please (divx question)
I wish to make some of my films into DIVX format. I thought they would be smaller files than wmv.
What is the best softwear to turn wmv files into divx files, without loosing quality.

I do believe most software can do it.
Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas, Virtual Dub, Windows Movie Maker. Although you will need both codecs, and some do not read wmv/asf files, as microsoft own the patent to the codec. [As far as I know anyway] Besides, converting to DivX probably isnt a good idea, as you need to get a license from DivX, if your intention is for business usage [such as downloads on a website], as apposed to personal. |
