It's movie night..."Harder They Come" and "Emperor Jones"
Harder they come with Jimmy Cliff (1972).....Reggae superstar jimmy cliff stars as a determined young man whose goals are exploited by the record company that released his hit recording. In desperation, he turns to dealing in marijuana in an attempt to keep from returning to his poverty filled roots.
Emperor Jones with Paul Robeson (1933)......In his only lead role in American films, Robeson is the hero of Eugene O'Neill's play about a pullman porter who becomes dictator of a Caribbean Island. Time to light up some Ganja and watch Harder They Come while I upload some video on my other computer....Time to logoff for an hour or two and relax. Have a wonderful evening y'all.
