Business Thread: Sponsors and 1099's
So how much does a webmaster have to make to get a 1099 from a sponsor? For some reason I have anything over 12K is taxable in my head, but I'm not sure...

A US based sponsor has to report it to the IRS via 1099 if they payout over $600 to a person.
Not sure where 12k comes in, but it's not the 1099 minimum by a long shot ![]()
