Wanted a webmaster partnership for a period site - I'm a photographer

Hey people,

I'm looking for a partnership. 50/50 split. I produce the content, pay the model, etc.

The webmaster deals with design, hosting, etc.

It's for a sex during menstrual cycle site. I prefer to use NON-North american and NON-french webmasters.

(I don't want the regulatory problems of North America and I don't want attitude or drama of the french boys.)

Montreal and Quebec webmasters are excluded. And thats because I just love you filthy bastards soooo much. MWAH!!!!

Do you even want to try and do a cost comparison?

Webmaster does site design, updates, etc

Photograher makes the content, cleans the photos, etc

Webmaster covers hosting costs

Photographer covers costs of locations, lighting, equipment (including DV tapes, batteries, etc.) talent, sometimes transportation.

Webmaster gets to do his job at his liesure. (Ok, there are deadlines and you work hard)

Photographer has to deal with finding girls, girls who flake, men without boners, egos, schedule nightmares, expired H.I.V tests, cleaning the set. (Do you really want to do the job of sperm mopper or babywipe pick'r up'r?) The list goes on.

Exclusive site content is not cheap. Even a standard no-nonsense boy-girl sex sans anal is easily over a thousand bucks. So if you did a weekly update and just kept it vanilla sex.

In a best case scenario you are looking at 52k a year.

All in all... I think both sides have alot of investment. A 50/50 partnership and each person does what they do best is more than fair.

Surely you have a little more intelligence than to post this here where you are at best going to get someone who offers you much more than they will provide and con you out of content with well written contracts even.

Talk to the big companies, and strike a deal with them... it is an untravelled niche. If you have that much of a problem negotiating deals offer someone here 5% to talk to one of the larger companies and put things in order for yourself.... You stand to have a more stable business this way, trust me. Oh yeah, make sure they have references and a good image in the community with experience brokering such deals.

Your best bet? Start writing e-mails with samples of your current work be it that niche or not along with your ideas on the fantasies and variations of shots that could be performed.

Right now I'm trying to get out of the "Sell my footage to video companies" game and move onto the Internet. I want credit and to own my own product.
