What credit card filter settings do you use?

I'd like to know what security features y'all enable for your merchant account's gateway, as I just got Paycom set up. I know what the features mean, I'd just like to know what people are using, what works in practical terms. I don't want to set the security bar too high so that it rejects honest people that are just not filling out the fucking form right, and not too low so that I have 20 chargebacks from Bulgaria tomorrow.

Here's the list of filters.

Require Correct Address (Full AVS)
Block Known Bad Domain
Block Known Bad Email Addresses
Block Known Bad IPAddresses
Bin/Merchant Level Blocking
Card Email Host
Block Known High Chargeback Countries
Require Correct CVV2 Code
Dummy Filter For Testing
Allow Duplicate Orders
Block Foreign Master Card
Block Multi-Card Attempts (Only 2 transactions with same card within 6 hours)
Block Same IP/Multi-Card and Same Card/Multi-IP Fraud (6 hour window)
Block Foreign Visa Card
Block Orders With HotMail.com Email Address
Block Excessive IP/Card Attempts
Block Orders With Juno.com Email Address
Block Cards In The Negative DB
Block Orders With PoBoxes.com Email Address
Block Open HTTP Proxies
Block Orders With RocketMail.com Email Address
Block Orders With Yahoo.com Email Address
Require Correct Zip-Code (Zip-Only AVS)

I only require a valid Cvv2, the rest are off, plus I only use my fraud data base and not the big list.

where did u get your fraud database from?

have u ever tested either of the third party processors, CCBILL and Paycom, on your site and compared it to how you do with your own merchant account?

how many more sales as a % do you think you do with your own processing over sites using third party processors? when was the last month/year you used CCBILL or Paycom?

thanks - lots of questions - you don't have to answer them if u dont want

my fraud database that I select to use are the people I personally add to it for chargebacks, refunds and such.

I have used several third party processors, I have been running my site since 1997, I have used ibill and DMR, I still have rebills thorugh ibill.

I dont know about percentages, but what I made monthly jumped allot after switching to a merchant account - my take home is allot higher also since I pay only a fracton of what I would be giving to a third party processor for processing.

Thanks all. Incidentally, Paycom is not a 3rd party processor. You still need your own merchant account. They just handle the subscription managment and gateway for a nice price of $0.85 per transaction.
