The hun and bandwith usage.

Hello,

I have a question concerning thehun.net regarding bandwidth usage. On average how much bandwidth is eaten up with a gallery listing on the hun.

I just received 2 emails about galleries being accepted. I am very happy of course, yet a little nervous as well.

Depends what kind of gallery movie or picture and how many? The bandwidth consumption is a lot but congrats on the listings I'm sure you'll do nicely.

For us bandwith is not an issue, we make on average 23 sales from a Huns listing, by promoting Interracial Sea Animal Sex

thanks,

Well, as for me. The average bw I burnt w/ gals. listed on the hun was from 10-50GB, nothing more...
But your server should be ready to handle 100K hits per day!!

I've always wondered about this, too.

So...100K hits x (size of files on your gallery)?

I've been on TheHun several times. Total amount of uniques was ranging from 90k to 120k and traffic 30gb to 50gb in one day.

Don't do 100k x total size of your gallery as not everyone will be viewing all n fullsize pics on your gallery.

Do something like:
Total size of your gallery excluding large images + 65% of size of large images x amount of hits.

No guarantees that this will be a steady figure but it should give you an indication of some sort.

The size of the pics gallery is ~420kb.
Here's a very rough scenerio:
200k uniques
84gb burnt

With a 5% CTR you will send ~10k to the sponsor.
Assuming the conversion is 1:700 you will make ~14 sales.
The one-month pricing is $28.63. You get 50% so that's $14.31.
Assuming that each su is for a one-month membership, you will gross $200.34

Very, very rough scenerio.
You could make $0, $200.34 or more, eitherway you will end up burning somewhere around 80gb for 200k.

Of course, the uniques depend on the description and position. You could get more or less.

My last listing had 3 1.5MB movies and did 25gigs the first day for 70K traffic and dropped down.
You should burn between 50-70 gbs

Yeah, this is just factoring in JUST views for the gallery itself. Not actually viewing the full-size pics.
