New Pope investigates Knights Templars and Illuminati

The new Pope, Benedict XVI, was actively investigating secret societies including the Knights Templar and the Illuminati, it was revealed yesterday. Details were exposed by a local newspaper in Hertfordshire, England. Cardinal Ratzinger was head of the Inquisition, the arm of the Church set up to investigate, persecute or eliminate heretics. But the curious thing is, we now know that he started his investigation shortly before he was elected as the new Pope. Did he know something? He certainly made no secret of his ambition to become Pope.

"He added, cryptically: ?The pontiff chose Benedict as his papal title, a name with special significance for the Knights Templar. The Rule of the Templars, which is like a code of conduct for the Order, was originally known as the Rule of Benedict.?

I didn't write the post. It's a paste from an article (which I thought was more than obvious to anyone who did read it). It didn't say that he persecuted or eliminated anyone. The phrase was in regard to the office of Holy Inquisition, not Ratzinger personally.

Paul VI made him archbishop of Munich in 1977, and on Nov. 25, 1981, John Paul II brought him to Rome as prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith -- formerly known as the Holy Office and before that as the Holy Inquisition.

Cardinal Ratzinger ran the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

'God's Rottweiler'

This Vatican department, a descendant of the Holy Inquisition, protects Church orthodoxy.

The job earned him unflattering nicknames such as "The Pope's Enforcer" and "God's Rottweiler".

He has a reputation for stifling dissent, and one of his early campaigns was against "liberation theology" in Latin America.

Some priests became involved in fighting poverty through social action, but to Cardinal Ratzinger it smacked of Marxism.

As a key aide to John Paul II he had a fearsome reputation, but those who know him say he is gentle and somewhat shy.

see, that makes more sense. otherwise, people generally cut and past things they stand by unless it later embarrasses them and the pretend "hey, I just cut and pasted"

I believe it was my great great grandfather who was a Knights Templar and was a level 33 or something. I guess you can only go so far, and you have to go to Germany to get the highest level or something, and he did that. I don't know much about the Knights Templars at all other than my great great or great grandfather was one.

Ratzinger really was the only logical choice for the Pope, he is hold, meaning he won't do it for extremely long, he was leading the Inquisition, so remember, they need someone new now and he will most likely not be so radical. All in all, it will most likely help and is a good stop to make the catholic church go some more into the 21st century.

Lets hope so at least.

Let's dissect it for you.

Quote:
Cardinal Ratzinger was head of the Inquisition, the arm of the Church set up to investigate, persecute or eliminate heretics.
Cardinal Ratzinger was head of the (Holy) Inquisition (comma, which indicates the end of a phrase). This is indisputed, feel free to do your own research at catholic.org.

Next part: the arm of the Church set up to investigate, persecute or eliminate heretics. As already explained, this refers to the office of the Holy Inquisition and why it was created.

Do not assume it means that Cardinal Ratzinger personally is responsible for the persecution and elimination of heretics. This is where your simple mind fucked up, and made you look like a fool for speaking among your superiors.

hahaha, it sucks being called on the carpet for your bullshit, don't it son?

let me dumb it down for you so you'll understand.

Run out on the interweb and go find these "persecutions or eliminations of heretics." you cut and pasted about. You obviously think this is relevent enough to post.

I dispute it, you're dead wrong. There is nothing in the Catholic church called the "Inquisition"
http://www.catholic.org/cathcom/inte...y.php?id=13974
Ratzinger's stern leadership of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, the modern successor to the Inquisition, delighted conservative Catholics but upset moderates and other Christians whose churches he described as deficient.

Pretending he's the head of "the inquisition" is a childish ploy to smear him.

Yes, in the 1400s not today. But then idiots like to make it seem that what went on 600 years ago is somehow relevant to today.

The 2 biggest mistakes of humanity:
1. Associating with the mind! ("I think therefor I am", Descarte) NOT! Just the fact that I can listen to my mind is the proof that it's not me.
2. Giving a name to what is! "God" the mind cannot conceive the totality of what is, and giving a name to "God" is limiting and prevents from seeing the big picture.

I met an interesting fellow: physicist paid by the goverment to do research on Dark Matter, and a man who believes he is from the family line of the Knight Templars. This man is one of the characters mentioned in the Da Vinci Code.

Here is his website. Enjoy.

Ok, you found me out. Here's the secret meaning. *cue sinister music*

See 1st post ? It's a paste from the article on the link provided in same post.

It's from a Hertsfordshire, England local newspaper.

It explains that the Pope had been looking into the persecution of Knights Templars, in regard to Hertsfordshire. Why ? They demanded an apology for the treatment by the church in 700 AD. (See, where it talks about 700AD, not present day ?)

Cardinal Ratzinger held the office that was once Holy Inquisition, and had been responsible for the decision to allow the release of limited inquisition records. Records covering some three and a half centuries of trials, intimidation, torture and executions.

Why are you such a prick and can't just read it for yourself ? It's not that difficult.

Well aware of that. The content of the article is from the Hertfordshire newspaper. The Hertfordshire Mercury doesn't have the article archived.

You can find more on it in several locations and newspapers. Choose your spin.

lol... what is "consipracy theory" ? Its people daring to talk about things that the major media wont touch... Are you one to believe if its not in the mainstream media.. it doesnt exist or its not happening? Sure you might find numerous ridiculous "conspiracy theories" ... Its up to you to use the judgement and do some research if you feel its appropriate..

You know anything about the Bilderberg Group..? Probably not since the mainstream media wont touch them even with a ten foot pole.. Rather strange that nobody knows about probably the most powerful and influencial group in the world...
