its a base model, so it was 27k. the other packages are dumb, who need traction control and VDS. i sure dont. Only option i woulda wanted is leather, but u can always add that later. the engine/tranny/suspension/etc is all the same. Slightly bigger wheels (1 inch bigger) on the high end one. but yeah, same car.

this one is $37k canadian, which is not that bad. i think they run a little more up on canada.

i am thinking this car would look absolutley amazing if you added lambo doors to it, i just dont want to rice it up at ALL.

bad example bc that one is totally riced out. but, with JUST the doors, it would look good.

doors + billet + a nice deepdish lipped set of wheels = nut

Also check out the Infiniti G35 coupe... Very similar, but 4 seater and more of a luxury car compared to the 350z.

You can probably get mine for real cheap (crashed it last week - 22k in damage):

G35s run for around 50 here if i am not mistaken, i like the 05 model better, less rounded.

i am trying not to top out of $40k, the 350z or the G35 couple are looking like my best bets atm.

i was even looking at an eclipse spyder, nice cars but a little to ricey for me.

I was disappointed in it... I prefer the older 300zx. The 350z feels kind of numb when driving, not really a driver's car.

I almost choked when I saw this thread LOL. We were looking at the 350 yesterday. I was thinking read. Now after seeing the Infiniti G35 coupe, I think I like that one better. I had a black 300 Z 2+2 with TTops. I Sold it when Nissan talked about coming out with the new 300. Then they never made that concept car and my Z was gone. That was a few years ago. I am not to sure about the new 350.

I am going to check out the Infiniti G35 coupe now.. This seems more my speed..

My buddy owns a 350 and loves it, but I prefer mine. It's got a bit more class and refinement, I think. Fast as hell, to me anyways.

"Riced out" refers to cars all pimped out, usually Japenese imports done up in "fast and the furious" style. Rice refers to to the Japenese's fondness for glitzing up their cars. Fast Japanese motorcyles are often termed "Rice Rockets," etc.

350Z's look nice, but their motors are crap. They are designed to fit in many different vehicles and aren't made for racing or for adding turbos/superchargers.

Then again, I might be biased because I think my Toyota Supra and Honda S2000 are superior in every way ;)

If you do get a 350Z, please don't add Lambo doors! Something about Lambo doors tells me they should stay on a Lamborghini.

I was actually planning on buying the royal blue one just a few months ago, i decided against it and bought two rental properties though.

I love it in that color though, and i do plan to buy one soon.

Actually Moter trends did a full side by side test and 350z beat the s2000 and mazda rx8 in everyway.

Also it was the car of the year in 2003.

Really it's great car no matter how you look at it.

Love my z
