I am hoping to stay near orchard road as well... I'm told it's best. All my friends from the area haven't been there in years so they are no help to me... |

Orchard road features all of the top hotels, you'll have no problems finding one if you're willing to pay well for it.

Ahh Singapore, I haven't been there in 12 years or something. There used to be (maybe still is?) a great mexican resteraunt on the boat quay. Gorgeous city, really enjoyed it.
