Here is the problem. Dads motherboard died/shorted out Swaping it with another motherboard. From past 10 pc's I build with Athlon XP you HAVE to format the HD and reinstall windows so all of the hardware clashes correctly. My dad has his tax shit on a Harddrive he wants to save it all then put it back on the same one after the format

do this. buy an external HD big enough to put the shit on. transfer it to the external drive . problem fixed.
