Uhm, the whole point to blogs is that they offer a way to get quality traffic for free. The blog format doesn't make money by converting traffic better than, say, a TGP would. It makes money by attracting surfers that a TGP cannot get.

So buying traffic for a blog is profoundly missing the point. It might work, but what's the point? There are (I hear) better things to do with bought traffic.

Heh, funny. I decided months ago to tell my blogging "secrets" to anybody who asks. My blogging secrets are like Google's SEO secrets: "work hard, build good sites, you will prosper." Nobody wants to hear that shit, so I can safely shout it from the steeples.

In my experience so far, buying traffic is good for blogs too especially if you have trades.

In my experience people don't bookmark a blog until they've visited repeatedly via other blog links. Bookmarks are rare and precious and I wouldn't expect many from purchased traffic.

Traffic for blogs? Nah....

Hey all...

My blog has been up since the end of May, and Ive currently have 1000 Uniques as of today...

Yes, I know its slow...but I havent advertised or trade traffic, etc.

I figure it will grow in the future...

I'm doing the blog only as a means of entertainment away from my work as a pornographer here in Canada...

So, I guess, your answer would be...No, I wouldn't buy traffic for a blog...Let it age and get traffic the old way, with content & wit.

Best Regards,

Maxxx Beaver
