let say you're using a sponsor for the first time, they know their sites better, they already tried the keywords before, i dont want to loose money trying their paysite, if they told me these keywords perform better with this paysite, i loose less money trying and they make more money faster

you can have 4 affiliate promoting the same paysite on PPC with the same keywords, the paysite get 3-4 listing on the same keyword in the same result page (affiliates are using different domains and landing pages) but the traffic goes to the same paysite. The sponsor get more of the GOOD traffic from the good performing keywords


EX: the sponsor gets 5% of the whole PPC traffic from the keyword xxxxxx , they can increase the 5%

That strategy is great if you're the only webmaster promoting their sites on that search engine. What's to stop you from taking those keywords and going to another sponsor? Why would a sponsor bother giving them to affiliates and just do it inhouse and keep the profits for themselves (almost every sponsor does have an inhouse PPC manager these days).

Every paysite is different, of course you'll have general performing keywords, but you can have a keyword working with paysite A and not with paysite B in the same niche.

At first when my partners suggest we go invite only I was so against that shit, but once we went this route it has been great, the webmasters we have are awesome and the ones we pick we know damn well they will bust their ass.. The time of being a lazy webmasters is coming to a end..

I can see some sense in doing that, but mostly from sponsors' POV - and only initially.
It would let them make more use of affiliates; having them saturate the SE's etc.

But I don't like the idea.
I like being able to profit, as an affiliate, without HAVING to pump out more than say..
10 grands a month for 500 bucks back.
In time, exactly that would become the case - at least close to that bad.

Those already doing PPC don't need a service like that from sponsors...
PPC-newbs however... Yeah, would be great for them, they would LOVE it! INITIALLY...
Then they'd drop out when it begins needing more of both money & work,
leaving it up to only the biggest sharks in the game.
And what would many of those rather do at that time, with all the money it would take?
Leave as well since daytrading/currency/whatever etc. would be more profitable.

Think ahead a little... would we really want this to happen..?
"Independent marketers" would totally leave PPC and sponsors would have to
compensate by having to do it all by themselves.
